We held our Third Annual Angleball Tournament on Saturday, November 3, 2007. The day began with a our liturgical celebration of the Feast of St Raphael, Bishop of Brooklyn with Orthros and the Divine Liturgy. We also offered the Trisagion Prayers for our first Camp Director, Fr. John Namie, who fell asleep in the Lord on November 5, 2002. After services we a cook-in with hamburgers and hot dogs along with the trimings. Approximately 40 people enjoyed the spectacular sunshine filled day watching and playing Angleball. To wind down the day, we celebrated Great Vespers followed by Chef Tim's amazing chili dinner. After sunset, we made smores over the campfire and then enjoyed a movie in the new Dining Hall. To conclude our weekend together, we joined the Orthodox Institute for Orthos and the Divine Liturgy at Ss. Peter and Paul Chapel at the Conference Center followed by a brunch. We hope that you will join us for this fast-growing tradition!
